POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE MICROPOWDER FR002A

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) micropowder FR002A is a white PTFE powder with very low molecular weight and very small particle size, and sometimes it is called as PTFE super-fine powder or PTFE wax. It is produced at the presence of a MW modeulator, and the liquid dispersion obtained is followed with coagulation, washing and drying. The product has excellent properties such as thermal resistance, weather resistance, lowtemperature resistance, low frictional coefficient, low adhesiveness, chemical inertness and electrical insulation etc.

With very good dispersiveness attributed to its very small particle size, FR002A is readily to be mixed homogeneously with other materials.

Application

PTFE micropowder FR002A can be solely used as a dry lubricant, and it is also widely used as additive for plastics, elastomers, coatings, inks, lubricant oils and greases etc. A variety of typical processes, for example, blending, are suitable for the product to be mixed with plastics and elastomers. Used as additive, the regular content of FR002A varies from 5% to 20%. With FR002A as additive, the friction coefficient of lubricant oils and greases can be further reduced, and the effective employability duration of the lubricant can be extended obviously, too. Furthermore, due to its dispersion in organic solvents, it can be used as release agents.  

Package and Storage

1. Always keep FR002A in dry place. If necessary, re-dry FR002A at a temperature below 150°C before using.

2.To maintain excellent dispersiveness of FR002A, it is very important to keep the product from any possible factors that may lead to agglomeration.

3.Processing temperature must be kept below 300°C.

4.It is packed in drums with two layers of polyethylene bag, the net weight of products is 20kg per drum.
